Depth Of Field Shoot

In this photo I aimed to focus on the ladybird and the flower it is on while leaving the background and foreground leaves out of focus. It was difficult to get close to the ladybird as there was a lot of leaves in the way. If I was going to take this photo again I would position the camera closer to the ladybird in order to make it more central. With this photo I aimed to bring the focus on the fingers holding the branch and everything around it to be blurry. I would want to change how dark the background turned out. Maybe if there was some objects in the background to make the photo appear more out of focus. In this photo I aimed to focus on the cherry's and Ella's face and leave the building in the background out of focus. I would want the cherry's to be more clear so I would have to move the camera closer to the cherry's. This photo was taken by Ella, she aimed to create the focus on the three daisy's and put the hand and grass out of focus...

With this image I aimed for creating a double reflection effect that could create an abstract style. I took this photo by pointing the camera toward the mirror while the subject was beside me, I had to make sure that I would not be seen in the photo. I also wanted the light from the white tinted window to fall on one side of the subjects face leaving the other in shade, highlighting the subjects focused facial expressions giving the illusion that she is thinking about something deep. The limitations were that I would like the light to be more sharp coming from the window and also for the lower part of the mirror to be bigger in order to capture the full face. For this photo I used ISO 200 and F stop 4.5 with the 'shade' white balance feature. This photo was taken by my partner Ella and her intention was to create a reflection in the window of the subject.
