Fast Shutter Speed Photographs

I think this photo was the most successful out of the other similar ones I took. I was trying to achieve an image where the water was emerging from the subjects hands. Also I wanted the shape of the water to appear in a interesting way, allowing the viewer of the image to interpret the shape in their own way. The problem with this photo is that I didn't set the shutter speed fast enough, in result I didn't capture the water clearly as I intended to. Also, I think that a different background could work better and maybe if the ISO was turned up a little. The unsuccessful photos: This was unsuccessful because it was not the way I wanted the water to shape. Also the water is out of focus because the shutter speed was not fast enough. The Six Still Story

Our group was aiming to create six images that would not need any speech bubbles or annotations in order to understand what is going on in the image. This meant that the people in the photos had to have clear gestures and facial expressions so that the viewer of the image knows what is going on and what emotions the subjects are feeling. Therefore, we aimed to show a bully lurking in the background that will attack two victims then a witness decides to help them, we wanted the action happening between the bully and the hero to be quite close up and then the closing image showing the two victims thanking the hero. I think that we were successful in creating a story in six images that can be easily interpreted. Also, in some of the pictures the depth of field has been done successful ly. Depth Of Field Shoot

In this photo I aimed to focus on the ladybird and the flower it is on while leaving the background and foreground leaves out of focus. It was difficult to get close to the ladybird as there was a lot of leaves in the way. If I was going to take this photo again I would position the camera closer to the ladybird in order to make it more central. With this photo I aimed to bring the focus on the fingers holding the branch and everything around it to be blurry. I would want to change how dark the background turned out. Maybe if there was some objects in the background to make the photo appear more out of focus. In this photo I aimed to focus on the cherry's and Ella's face and leave the building in the background out of focus. I would want the cherry's to be more clear so I would have to move the camera closer to the cherry's.
