The Six Still Story
Our group was aiming to create six images that would not need any speech bubbles or annotations
in order to understand what is going on in the image. This meant that the people in the photos had to
have clear gestures and facial expressions so that the viewer of the image knows what is going on
and what emotions the subjects are feeling. Therefore, we aimed to show a bully lurking in the
background that will attack two victims then a witness decides to help them, we wanted the action
happening between the bully and the hero to be quite close up and then the closing image showing
the two victims thanking the hero. I think that we were successful in creating a story in six images
that can be easily interpreted. Also, in some of the pictures the depth of field has been done
successfully. A thing that could be improved is the framing of some of the photos to avoid useless
space and also maybe a change of background could make this more interesting.
